History
Airvac
Technical Services, Inc. was founded in March of 1995 by ex-Nash
Engineering employees shortly after Nash Engineering decided to
discontinue their business in the hospital market. All of
our employees have worked at Nash and we pride ourselves on
being experts on liquid ring medical air and vacuum systems.
Airvac specializes in Nash Vacuum Pumps and Nash
Compressors. Since they have recently stopped
producing a line of pumps, we have established a contract with
their competitor to offer their version of close coupled vacuum
pumps. They are direct replacements with more
capacity at the same absorbed horsepower. We have
also introduced an 800 number for all of our customers
nationwide. Our phone (203) 300-1199 can be reached 24 Hrs a day.
Airvac has gone through extensive training to
adapt to the latest NFPA code
requirements. We are P.I.P.E. certified as Medical Gas
Inspectors. This added experience is our assurance to our
customers and commitment to the industry that any and all
upgrades will be sized correctly and the job completed correctly
the first time. Airvac does not practice " on the job
" training as our competitors do. We feel that
"on the job " training could compromise not only the
hospitals reputation, but more importantly, PATIENT SAFETY !!
We keep a Full Stock
of components that are used on your Nash
Pumps, such as unloader valves, solenoid valves,
discharge silencers, pressure and vacuum switches, etc, etc.
We also maintain added safety equipment ranging from dew
point monitors to desiccant
dryers.
